SELF-HOSTED — YOUR DATA STAYS HERE
MIR//VISION is self-hosted software. This instance is run by its own operator, not by a central service. Everything you create is stored locally in a SQLite database and data directory on the operator's server. Nothing is sent to the software authors.
WHAT IS STORED
Account data (email address, username, and a bcrypt hash of your password — never the password itself), the songs you design or upload (including audio files and analysis results), your equipment and room configurations, and your shows and cue timelines. Optional appearance settings (theme, font) are stored with your account.
COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE
Keeps you signed in (encrypted session). Strictly necessary — the app cannot function without it.
Lifetime: Session-scoped; cleared on logout or when it expires.
Remembers that you acknowledged the cookie notice so it is not shown again.
Lifetime: Persistent until you clear your browser storage.
No advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies are used.
NO ANALYTICS, NO THIRD-PARTY SHARING
The application contains no analytics, no trackers, and shares no data with third parties. Usage of this instance is a matter between you and its operator.
EXTERNAL SERVICES
When you search for or download audio models, the server contacts huggingface.co directly; those requests are subject to HuggingFace's own terms and privacy policy. The interface display fonts may be loaded from the Google Fonts CDN by your browser. No other external services are contacted.
DATA REMOVAL
To have your data removed, ask the administrator of this instance to delete your account. Deleting an account removes its songs, uploads, devices, shows and cues from the database.
